A huge thank you to everyone who beared the cold weather to come out to see Davis Dance in its season 17 opening concert series “Transcendence.” It might have been cold outside, but the company set the stage on fire! Davis Dance will always deliver unique programming and heart-felt dance to our audiences with love. Your support means everything to us. Please, tell everyone you know about Davis Dance.

AVID Dance directed by Emily Speed was the perfect Share the Stage guest. Wow! What a dynamic company of dancers. We can’t wait to have them back with us in the future.

Robert Sher-Machherndl of Lemon Sponge Cake Contemporary Ballet’s premiere of “FALCO” was a triumph, and Diego Gonzales’ “This is Living: Scattered Thoughts” was breathtaking and left a lasting impression on our audiences. We are so greatful for these two special premieres and great auditions to the Davis Dance Repertoire. Thank you so much Robert and Diego for the amazing pieces of art!

To my dancers: you are the pillars of the company. Without you, there is no Davis Dance. Thank you for your hard work, dedication, passion, artistry, and commitment to yourself. It was an excellent concert run. You all continue to amaze me with your talents. What a great company of beautiful humans.

Lastly, a huge thank you goes out to our board of directors. Your support for everything Davis Dance never goes unappreciated. You work so hard to promote, support, and elevate the entire organization. Marco Ramirez, your Presidential leadership is astounding! To Kym Handy Scearce, Scott Norquist, Emily MacIntyre, Aubrey Klinger Fearns, our tech team, the Elaine Wolf Theatre Staff, and Niki O’Brien- thank you for your countless volunteer hours.
